Aim of the Roundtable Dialogue

  • The aim is to dialogue together to discern, reflect and learn how faith can transform and improve the effectiveness of multilateral environmental governance.
  • To do this we invite people from diverse disciplines and communities of civil society including faith-based spiritual perspectives to dialogue and listen deeply to each other’s reflections.

In this first part of our dialogue, we shall explore what is the unique value-added that faith perspectives can bring to the debate about effective multilateralism in environmental governance.


In this second part, we will share how religious values, and moral, ethical and spiritual understandings could help advance the effectiveness of policies in multilateral environmental governance to help tackle the root causes of our triple planetary crisis: climate change, pollution and biodiversity decline.


What are the key take away messages, actions and reflections that we agree to raise from our discussion.
